Okta is an on-demand service behind your Delaware ID. It allows you to easily sign in to applications Delaware uses through a single login.
Once you sign in, your Delaware ID home page displays your work applications in one location. Simply, click the application's corresponding icon and each application opens in a new browser window or tab and you are automatically logged in.
For access to, or help with, a specific application, please log in first and use the Help located on your Delaware ID dashboard.

For access to Employee Self Service, please sign in via https://my.delaware.gov with your personal email and personal password.

State of Delaware Employees and Contractors Using Delaware ID* Sign In Using Your Delaware ID

Enter your Delaware ID Username (usually your state email address or state issued IT network account) and network password, and then click on Sign in.

If you see the error message UNABLE TO SIGN IN, your username and password do not match those specified for your profile by the network, or you do not have access permission.

Question :   What should I do if I forget my password?

Answer :  

You can reset your password yourself, if you provided a secondary email or a recovery phone number.
Click  Forgot password? on the sign-in widget. Select which method you want to use.
You will get an email (receive a link via personal email) or an SMS/call on your phone to reset your password.

Question :   What should if my account is locked?

Answer :  

You can unlock your account yourself, if you provided a secondary email or a recovery phone number.
Click  Unlock account? on the sign-in widget. Select which method you want to use. .
You will get an email (receive a link via personal email) or an SMS/call on your phone to unlock your account.

Question :   What should I do if …

  • my MFA doesn’t work/I can’t get a code or email?
  • I can’t reset my password/unlock my account myself?
  • I don’t know my Username/my username isn’t recognized?

Answer :

  1. Ask to have the Delaware ID Account Administrator reset your MFA factors and unlock your account for you.
  2. As soon as you are logged back into your Delaware ID dashboard,
    • Click on the carrot (V) next to your name (upper right corner of the dashboard).
    • Choose SETTINGS.
    • Review the information under SECURITY. Be sure you have set up your security factors correctly so you will be able to unlock or reset your password yourself in the future.
      • IMPORTANT: Security Question only provides access to your account; you must have other factors (email, phone, Okta Verify) set up to be able to reset your password or to unlock your account.
